Deadly Bus Accident

A deadly bus accident in the Richmond, Virginia area killed four women and sent 50 people to the hospital. The driver of the bus was charged with reckless driving. Authorities believe that the cause of the accident was due to driver fatigue. The Sky Express Company offers red-eye drives from Charlotte, North Carolina to Chinatown, New York City. The driver and passengers were on their way up to New York City when the accident happened. The Sky Express Bus accident shut down I-95 for four hours just above the King's Dominion exit. The bus drove off the road into a ditch and eventually flipped which injured several of the passengers.

Sky Express Bus Company has been scrutinized for their poor safety regulations. According to local reports, they scored far below average on their driver safety and driver fitness regulations. The driver of the bus in the above reference accident was 37 year old, Kn Yiu Cheung. He is being held on a $3000 bond at the Pamunkey Regional Jail in Hanover County. According to medical authorities, those who were injured in the accident are all in stable conditions.
