HRT Bus and Land Rover Collide

Many locals of Hampton Roads are familiar with blue Hampton Roads Transit busses driving around the Southside and Peninsula cities. These busses have maneuver tediously around busy street and speeding car, especially on the slim streets of Norfolk. I know that I have a few close calls when passing these busses. Unfortunately for a woman driving in a black Land Rover on Granby Street at downtown Norfolk, she was not so fortunate when coming across one of the HRT busses. According to reports, the Land Rover collided with the bus as it was crossing over the City Hall intersection. Thankfully, there were no passengers in the Land Rover. The driver was taken into the hospital for an evaluation along with a few of the bus passengers. No serious injuries were reported. Also, no charges have been made. Police are investigating what the color rotation of the light was before any charges will be made.

If you or someone you know has been involved in a vehicular accident, please contact your local Hampton Roads Attorney Michael S. Weisberg to set up a free consultation. Attorney Weisberg offers a comfortable and confidential session and will do his best to help you through your situation.
