Man Arrested for Selling Weed in First Landing State Park

A man was arrested for trafficking drugs in First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach, VA. The accused pot dealer is identified as Charles W. Knipp. Knipp already has drug-selling convictions on his record. First Landing State Park is a popular family and outdoor spot for many Hampton Roads residents. But for Mr. Knipp, this was a perfect secluded spot to deal massive amounts of marijuana.

A series of arrests and investigations led police to Knipp. According to reports, one individual, who was arrested for possession of $8,000 worth of pot, told authorities he bought it from a seller who was dealing under the pines. Authorities monitored the cabin last week and arrested two men who were leaving the cabin with a duffel bag which contained a significant amount of marijuana. State Park officials were completely unaware of the situation and Knipp's arrest. They have on record that Knipp rented the cabin for five days but he never checked out. If you or someone you know has a criminal conviction against them, please contact your local Hampton Roads attorney, Michael S. Weisberg.
