Suffolk Police Report 52 Burglaries In The Last Two Months

The Suffolk Police Department is currently investigating a rash of 52 home burglaries that have occurred in the past two months in the area. The police have not been able to identify or apprehend any suspects in connection with the local burglaries. According to officials and news sources, a majority of the burglaries have taken place during the day in broad daylight.

According to reports, the thieves appear to be targeting homes with flat screen televisions and electronic equipment. Some victims have also reported having jewelry and other personal valuables stolen from their homes. Since most of the burglaries have occurred while residents are at work or gone for the day, they have not been able to secure many leads or evidence related to these crimes.

Local residents should be on the look out for strange or suspicious activity such as unusual behavior, door-to-door salesmen, and unknown vehicles canvassing their neighborhoods. Local residents who witness suspicious activities taking place should alert the authorities immediately. Other individuals who may have knowledge or information related to the rash of burglaries that have taken place in Suffolk, Virginia over the past two months should contact the Suffolk Police Department.
