Two Killed In Virginia Beach Shooting

Two individuals, a man and a woman, were fatally shot in Virginia Beach over the weekend. The shooting occurred in the shopping center at 800 Baker Road. According to local news reports, the Virginia Beach Police were called to the shopping center at around 2 p.m. on Sunday. When they arrived they found the two individuals shot inside their car.

Chiquita Long, who was one of the victims of the shooting, was declared dead at the scene of the shooting. The other victim, Rahkim Goodwin was alive when the police arrived and was taken to the hospital. Mr. Goodwin, a Norfolk resident, died later that day as a result of the gunshot wounds that he sustained in the shooting.

According to news sources, the Virginia Beach Police are not currently looking for a suspect in this case. It was reported that the police will be providing additional details once the autopsies of the two deceased individuals are completed. This is the second shooting to take place in the Lake Edwards area of Virginia Beach in the past month.
