Loren Linker, a local
Virginia Beach business owner, made an initial appearance before United States Magistrate Judge
Douglas E. Miller on March 18, 2011 for federal methamphetamine changes. Linker is the President and CEO of
Handyman Plus, Inc. located in Virginia Beach.
According to
local news reports, Drug Enforcement Administration (
DEA) agents obtained a search warrant to inspect the premises of Handyman Plus, Inc. last week after a grand jury indicted Linker for conspiracy to distribute and possess methamphetamine. The indictment contained 17 allegations of criminal activity in total.
Linker is suspected of using his business vehicles, location and the
U.S. Postal Service to obtain and distribute methamphetamine.
Local reports suggested that the drugs were sent through the mail to Linker’s business location from a supplier in California. A search warrant was also issued for a second un-named alleged co-conspirator.
