William McAndrew, a
Virginia man who claims that he was “permanently disfigured” in a 2009 motor vehicle collision, has filed a lawsuit seeking $950,000 in damages. According to
local news sources and the lawsuit complaint, McAndrew was driving on Greenwood Road in
Winchester, Virginia when Jennifer Perry’s car crossed the centerline and collided head-on with McAndrew’s vehicle. Perry was killed in the crash.
McAndrew is
claiming that he was permanently disfigured as a result of the crash and is seeking payment for “past and future medical bills, pain and suffering, mental anguish, inconvenience, out-of-pocket expenses and loss of income.” Details regarding the extent of McAndrew’s injuries have not been released.
If McAndrew is successful in his personal injury claim against Perry, the funds to pay for McAndrew’s damages will likely come from Perry’s car insurance company and her estate. Currently, Sheriff Lenny Millholland of
Winchester, Virginia has been appointed by the court to act that the administrator of Perry’s estate.
