How is medical malpractice defined?

A: Medical malpractice cases are always complex. Not every bad result from medical treatment can be defined as medical malpractice. Sometimes the risks of medical treatment are unavoidable and pros are weighed against the cons. However, if a health provider has failed to follow the set standards of medical care, and the bad results have occurred then there may be a basis for a medical malpractice case.
