I fell at the supermarket and was injured. Do I have a claim?

 

A: It depends. Storeowners who invite the public into their shops have a duty to make sure that their property is safe. This does not necessarily mean that the storeowner will be held liable for every dangerous condition that exists on the property. If a dangerous condition was not obvious or apparent, the store could be held liable if you are injured as a result of their negligence.
