What are some of the warning signs of neglect?

 

A: Nursing home neglect is often more difficult to spot since there are rarely physical manifestations of the abuse. Warnings signs that you should watch out for include the presence of “bed” or pressure sores, weight loss, poor hygiene and the overall quality of the environment at the assisted living facility. Additionally, if you notice a rapid decline in your loved one’s mental or physical health, they may not be receiving the care that they need.
