A school bus packed with children from Virginia Beach was reportedly in an accident on the afternoon of March 25, 2011 on I-264 East before the Independence Boulevard exit.
The bus was motoring from the Renaissance Academy, a private school, on the interstate expressway to take students home at the end of the school day. There were no reported injuries, a spokesperson with the Virginia Beach school system said.
After a safety check, the bus was back in business, delivering the children home safely, according to a report on WAVY-TV (Channel 10).
