A tragic motor vehicle accident occurred in Hampton, Virginia, on Wednesday, December 21st, 2011, which took the life of a 22-year-old driver. William Bradley Hicks, of the 100 block of Taurus Court in Yorktown, died at the intersection of Magruder Boulevard and Hampton Roads Center Parkway in an unfortunate early-morning crash.
According to Hampton Police Spokeswoman Allison Quinones, the police received a call at 5:22 AM, after Hicks’ Acura Integra was hit by a Chevy Silverado. The police arrived at the scene and determined that the Acura Integra, which was traveling southbound on Magruder Boulevard, was hit when a northbound Chevy Silverado tried to make a left turn onto Hampton Roads Center Parkway. The Chevy Silverado crashed into the Acura Integra at the intersection. Sadly, medics pronounced Hicks dead at the scene.
The investigation into this fatal crash is still ongoing and is being conducted by the Hampton Police Division’s Fatal Crash Team.
